American Stone, Inc. Relocates to Caroline

The Caroline County Board of Supervisors announced today that American Stone, Inc., a firm currently located in Newington, Virginia will be relocating to Ladysmith Virginia near exit 110 on Interstate 95.

American Stone, Inc. manufactures preformed concrete architectural features for commercial structures. American Stone will construct a 35,000 sq. ft. building on site and employ year round 65-70 employees. The investment in Caroline County is anticipated to be in excess of $2Million.

American Stone, Inc. will retain a large tree lined buffer from Green Road in Ladysmith. The Ladysmith site is anticipated to be a clean, dust suppressed location like the Newington location which produces no outside dust on site or in the neighborhood.
