Employment Application Supplement to Caroline County Employment Application Commercial Driver's Licence Supplemental Form, (To be used, if applicable, with Caroline County Government Application)

Caroline County is accepting applications to fill openings for (14) Camp Counselors and (3) Camp Supervisors for its Parks and Recreation Summer Job Program.

Essential duties include but are not limited to: plan, organize and coordinate camp activities; assist in the general supervision of campers; implement program activities; and maintain camp facilities.

Applicants shall posses a high school diploma or GED Equivalent, be at least 18 years of age, have experience working with children, and have a CPR and First Aid Certification. Program is expected to begin on June 28th and run for seven (7) weeks.

The pay rate for the Supervisor position is $11.00 per hour.

The pay rate for the Counselor position is $8.00 per hour.

Caroline County is an equal opportunity employer Caroline County Department of Fire and Rescue is currently accepting part time applications for the positions of EMT/Firefighter and Medic/Firefighter. These positions are responsible for emergency medical service work responding to a variety of injuries and illnesses, fire prevention, and suppression.

Minimum Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, current certification as a Virginia EMT-B, EMT-I or EMT-P, Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC), Basic Cardiac Life Support and a valid Virginia Driver’s License. Medic candidates should hold valid Advance Cardiac Life Support and ITLS or PHTLS certifications. Positions also require current certification as a VA Firefighter I (or the ability to obtain within the 1st year of employment). Experience as a volunteer or career EMT, medic or firefighter is desirable.
