Employment Application Supplement to Caroline County Employment Application Commercial Driver's Licence Supplemental Form, (To be used, if applicable, with Caroline County Government Application)

Caroline County Department of Fire and Rescue is currently accepting part time applications for the positions of EMT/Firefighter and Medic/Firefighter. These positions are responsible for emergency medical service work responding to a variety of injuries and illnesses, fire prevention, and suppression.

Minimum Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, current certification as a Virginia EMT-B, EMT-I or EMT-P, Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC), Basic Cardiac Life Support and a valid Virginia Driver’s License. Medic candidates should hold valid Advance Cardiac Life Support and ITLS or PHTLS certifications. Positions also require current certification as a VA Firefighter I (or the ability to obtain within the 1st year of employment). Experience as a volunteer or career EMT, medic or firefighter is desirable.
