· David Nunnally (Senior Environmental Planner) participated in a perennial stream ID workshop presented by Virginia Institute of Marine Science. The workshop provided both lab and field instruction in identification and classification of perennial streams.  The identification of Perennial Streams is very important to Caroline County.  The Chesapeake Bay Act requires a 100 foot buffer along any water flow designated as a Perennial Stream.  See workshop photos here.  Please contact Sandra Y. Erdle, Coastal Training Program Coordinator, if you are interested in educational opportunities provided by VIMS.
