  • Margaret writes: I live on Point Eastern Drive off Frog Level Rd. I see a pair of Bald Eagles frequently at my home. Sometimes they are only about 20 feet off the ground - other times they are soaring. I think they are nesting at Reedy Mill because they fly to and from that direction. Recently I just see one - I suspect they have young in the nest and the other is staying nearby.

  • Pamela writes: We have 2 Eagles in the area of our sawmill located on 301 south of Bowling Green. One is a juvenile and one mature. They hover over and land on the banks of the pond adjacent to our property. They are so beautiful to watch! Any movement from us sends them away. I have also seen the eagles in the area of Reedy Mill on my drive home. Once an eagle was trying to take flight with what looked to be a groundhog in it's grip. I stopped to watch and scared it back into flight without it's prey.

  • Deborah writes: My husband and I both have had the pleasure of observing the pairs of eagles, ongoing for some time now. Our home is on the Port Togabo Bay-of the Rapp. River. (Eva Drive) location. On occasions, three (3) eagles can be observed flying over our waterfront and perching in the trees overlooking the cliff. Since my return home from being hospitalized, I have observed eagles in our location--5-25-05; 5-26-05, 5-27-05 and today- (1)-5-28-05. YES--They were Bald Eagles!
