PUBLIC HEARING
V-06-2007 - Ladysmith Commons LLC: Request a variance to Article XV (Supplemental Regulations), Section 15.6 (Lot Area and Other Dimensional Requirements), Paragraph 10, on tax map #52-A-157, consisting of 12.512 acres, more or less, zoned B-1, Business in the Highway Corridor Overlay District. This property is located on Route 1 (17069 Jefferson Davis Highway), north of Route 639 (Ladysmith Road), Madison Voting District. Proposed Variance: To allow the installation of a chain linked fence where the zoning ordinance requires that the fencing shall be tubular steel or aluminum, uniformly painted or stained board on board fencing, vinyl fencing, and a masonry wall constructed of materials which match the exterior of the principal building. No chain link fencing or razor/barbed wire are permitted.
